Haunted Carnival is 2016’s Theme

The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre’s 4th annual Haunted House opens this Friday at the Rapids Mall.

This year’s theme is “Haunted Carnival.” Not for the timid, 2016 promises to be even scarier than before, with everything you’d expect from a twisted carnival.

“Guests will tour back stage at the freak show, Zombie Row, the spooky food stand, Bone Apart’s creepy puppet show and other surprises,” said Director Cory Gavinski, “But, as in previous years, nothing is that simple. It’s all a fun house where nothing is as it seems and things change every night — and prepare yourself. There will be clowns.”

The WRCT Haunted House will be open Friday and Saturday Oct. 21-22 and 28-29 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 each, and this year, reservations are required.

“Because of the long lines we had for the last couple of nights last year, we want to give people the option of reserving a time.” said Gavinski.

Groups of four will be able to reserve their spot on the schedule. If you don’t have an appointment, you can schedule one at the door or take your chance and wait for an opening. Themed food and drink will be available for purchase while you wait.

To make a reservation or if you have questions, please contact the WRCT office at 715-421-0435, send an email to [email protected], or visit our website at wrctheatre.org.

For more information, please call 715-421-0425.
