Wisconsin Rapids Weekend Rundown

Here is a quick rundown of weekend happenings in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

Friday, Oct. 21
WRCT Haunted House — 6:00 p.m. — 10:00 p.m.

The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre will be hosting their fourth annual haunted house on Friday night and will run through Oct. 29. WRCT is located at 220 3rd Ave. South.

Friday, Oct. 21
Acoustic Open Mic Night — 7:00 p.m.

Karen’s Wines & Steins will be hosting an open mic night this Friday. This event is located at 160 1st St. North in Wisconsin Rapids.

Friday, Oct. 21
Art on Tap – 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Art on Tap will feature beer and wine tasting, food tastings, land live music. For more information please visit culturalcenterarts.com

Saturday, Oct. 22
Renaissance Assisted Living Craft Fair — 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Renaissance Assisted Living will be hosting a craft and vending fair which will feature over 25 local vendors. This event is located at 1500 Pepper Ave.

Saturday, Oct. 22
United Way of Inner Wisconsin’s Volunteer Center’s Day of Caring — 8:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.

Volunteers will be raking and collecting leaves for elderly and disabled neighbors, as well as collecting items for Acorn Apartments. This event will start at the Grand Rapids Lions Club, located at 2411 36th St. South.

Saturday, Oct. 22
Rabid Aardvarks at Octane — 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

The Rabid Aardvarks will be playing Octane Bar & Grill on Saturday night. They play a blend of modern pop and country. Octane Bar & Grill is located at 9047 Highway 13 South.
