The city will be picking up brush piles this week, from Monday to Friday.

According to the news release, the piles must be in an orderly fashion, sized four feet high by six feet wide, and 10 feet long. A chipping time of five minutes per residence is also now in effect.

Any brush left behind that exceeds the city’s size will become the responsibility of the property owner.

While residents can hire a local tree service to help with extra, according to the city, brush piles left by the City following the collection schedule will be considered a violation of City ordinance, and may result in enforcement action.
