Woman Faces Cocaine, Marijuana Charges

A Marshfield woman faces multiple drug charges after police located marijuana and cocaine in her residence.
According to police reports, on Oct. 14, officers attempted to located 38-year-old Maria Schlag, who had a warrant out for her arrest. Upon arrival, police made contact with Schlag, who immediately informed officers that she had to vomit, and ran to the bathroom.
An officer pursued her and in plain view observed a baggie containing marijuana, a “one-hitter” pipe, and a baggie containing cocaine. The defendant admitted that these items were hers.
If convicted, Schlag faces up to a total of seven years imprisonment and up to $20,000 in fines. Her arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 14.
