Veterans Day is Friday, Nov. 11, and there are many ways you can honor these heroes next week.

At 11:00 p.m. the Chapter 55 Disabled Veterans will be hosting a ceremony at Veterans Park, located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids.

At 1:00 p.m. the Wood County Veterans Memorial legacy stone ceremony will be held outside of the Wood County Courthouse, located at 400 Market St. If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Community Action Theater inside the Rapids Mall.

At 4:30 p.m. there will be an “All you can eat” spaghetti dinner held by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2534, located at 2711 Reddin Rd. For just $7 dollars, residents are welcomed to salad, garlic bread, deserts, coffee and milk.
