November’s common council meeting was held on Tuesday night — here is a rundown of notes from the meeting.

-Wisconsin Rapids Police Patrol Officer Eric Daven was elected to the city government ethics board.

-The city voted to change the speed limits in the areas of 32nd St. South from Washington St. to Kingston Rd. and from 32nd St. North from Chestnut St. to north of Peach St. to 35 m.p.h.

-The 2017 city budget was passed — for detailed information on the contents of the budget, please visit wirapids.org

-There was an approval of a part-time position to be created at the South Wood County Airport.
