Wisconsin Rapids Weekend Rundown

Here is a rundown of weekend events happening in the area.

Friday, Dec. 9 & 10
‘Christmas Stories That Never Grow Old’ — 7:30 p.m.

A Christmas play that offers a unique take on the telling of many classic Christmas stories. For more information, please click here. 

Friday, Dec. 9
Relentless — 7:00 p.m.

Rock group ‘Relentless’ will be playing the Hotel Mead on Friday night. The Hotel Mead is located at 451. E. Grand Ave.

Saturday, Dec. 10
Rudolph Country Christmas — 10:00 a.m.

Celebrating the joy of Christmas, this event will offer up everything from Santa, reindeer, wagon rides, and various holiday vendors. The day will also include a blacksmith and chainsaw carving demonstrations. Parade and fireworks show to follow. The event will go all day and will take place in downtown Rudolph.

Saturday, Dec. 10
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party — 8:00 p.m.

An ugly Christmas sweater party will be held at Freddie’s Bar & Grill on Saturday night. Special guest ‘Hue’ to perform. Games, prizes, drink specials and much more. Guests are encouraged to bring store bought appetizers to contribute to the event. Freddie’s is located at 2010 Chestnut St.

Saturday, Dec. 10
Bootleg Hollar — 9:00 p.m.

Country artists Bootleg Hollar will be playing Octane Bar & Grill late Saturday night. There is no cover charge. Octane Bar & Grill is located at 9047 8th St. South.
