There is an open call for artists to submit work for an upcoming exhibit at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center opening, Friday, Jan. 26, 2017.

Artists are encouraged to submit works in any media — painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, fibers, ceramics, glass or any other media that reflect their “Local Vision”.

There are no jury fees and submissions must be received by the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center for review by Thursday, Jan. 19 at 5:00 p.m. Work may be submitted during Cultural Center hours or by appointment, Jan. 17-19, 2017

All submissions may be the actual pieces or photos/digital images of the work in total. All pieces must be ready to hang or display (no submissions accepted without showing the painting or photo framed and/or ready for hanging).

Submission will stay on display through Feb. 24, 2017 and must be picked up Feb. 28, or Mar. 1-2, 2017. If items are not picked up by end of business day, Mar. 2, or other arrangements made, the work will be considered abandoned.

Abandoned (never picked up) artwork becomes a donation to the Cultural Center. The piece may be donated or sold with full purchase price going to the Cultural Center.

The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is open to the public free of charge. Center hours are: Tuesday and Thursday’s 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
