When does pain pill use become pain pill abuse?

Aspirus invites all ladies to learn more about opioid use, abuse, and addiction at the free Aspiring Women girls’ night out, ‘Pain Killers…Overdoing  Opioids.’

Aspirus Physician Assistants Caitlin Parmeter and Lindsay Reimer will explain how pain pill addiction happens, and what we can do to avoid it, detect it, and overcome it. Ladies will also sample pain-reducing appetizers and take home recipes and an Aspiring Women gift.

‘Pain Killers… Overdoing Opioids’ will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

Attendance is free; but space is limited, and advance registration is required. To register, visit aspirus.org/AspiringWomen or call 1-800-847-4707. Attendees must register individually. Registration closes on Jan. 5.
