Youth Snowboarding Program Offered This Saturday

The city has put together a youth snowboarding program to introduce them to the sport this Saturday, Jan. 7.

Hosted at Poplar Springs Park, children will be introduced to equipment and methods, while boarding down bunny hill. There will be equipment on hand for use, but parents are encouraged to bring their own.

The class is run by the Lincoln High School Ski/Snowboarding Club.

‘Ridge Riders’ — aged 5-8 will have their session from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. ‘Hill Sliders’ — aged eight and up will have their session from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Fees are $5 dollars for residents, and $8 dollars for non-residents.
