For the City Times

Aspirus invites all ladies to “An Affair of the Heart” ~ a free Aspiring Women girls’ night out.

February is American Heart Month… the perfect time to take the time to learn about heart health and cholesterol.

“An Affair of the Heart” will feature Robert Martin, MD, FACC, Cardiologist with the new Aspirus Heart & Vascular clinic at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. Ladies who attend will also sample heart-healthy appetizers and take home recipes and an Aspiring Women gift.

“An Affair of the Heart” will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids on Wednesday, Feb. 8, and at the Stevens Point Country Club on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Just pick the place and date that best fits your schedule when you register.

Advance registration is required, as space is limited. To register, visit aspirus.org/AspiringWomen or call 1-800-847-4707. (Please register individually.) Registration closes for the Wisconsin Rapids girls’ night out on Feb. 1 and for the Stevens Point girls’ night out on February 15 (or when filled).

Aspiring Women is the Aspirus partnership with Spirit of Women, a nationwide network of hospitals and health care systems that inspires health and wellness on a local level, primarily through educational and entertaining events for women. Membership in Aspiring Women is free and includes notice of upcoming events in your area and free e-newsletters. To join, visitaspirus.org/AspiringWomen
