A one-stop shop for pizza and movies is in sight.

Well over one year in the making, Wisconsin Rapids residents have long waited for Marco’s Pizza to open up, which will be conveniently located just steps away from Family Video. According to Family Video Manager Jake Jeffers, completion for the pizza shop is hopeful for sometime in February.

Not only can anyone rent movies and take a few steps to grab a pizza, but they have the ability to order pizza and their movie selections over the phone. This includes the option to have delivery drivers return movies to the store.

“You have the delivery factored into movies with the pizzas,” said Jeffers. “So people can rent movies over the phone, order a pizza, and have them delivered directly to their house.”

Marco’s is slated to hold similar hours to Family Video’s. Patrons may have noticed construction on the northside of the store to make way for the new business. Marco’s currently has over 500 stores in 35 states, with over 100 locations inside Family Videos.

With Family Video fully aware of the uphill battle facing the movie rental industry, the addition of Marco’s services is a way to keep family movie night alive. For more information, please visit www.marcos.com.

Family Video is located at 820 8th St. South.
