Two have been arrested on drug charges after walking into a police executed search warrant.

According to reports, on Jan. 9 a search warrant was executed on the 400 block of Wood Ave. in Nekoosa. As police were in the home, two individuals identified as 34-year-old Heather Webb of Nekoosa, and 42-year-old Michael Knighten of Wisconsin Rapids, drove up to the residence.

After confirming Webb as a permanent resident of the address, she had allegedly told police that Knighten had been living in the residence for over a month. During the search, police turned up multiple items of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances.

Inside, the following was found.

-A metallic grinder containing marijuana residue.
-Six aluminum bindles containing Fentanyl, a schedule II controlled substance sometimes cut with heroin.
-Two glass smoking devices containing methamphetamine residue.
-Three baggies containing methamphetamine.
-A small baggie in Webb’s purse containing methamphetamine.

According to reports, Knighten admitted to selling heroin to multiple users in the area. During previous search warrants of the same address, police have turned up heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.

Both Webb and Knighten were out on bail at the time stemming from previous drug charges.

If convicted, Knighten faces up to 25 years imprisonment and up to $100,000 in fines for possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, and two counts of bail jumping. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 25.

If convicted, Webb faces up to 19 years imprisonment and up to $60,000 in fines for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and two counts of bail jumping. Her preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 25.
