Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 14-15

Jan. 14
Cab Nap: At 8:12 a.m. a call was made from the 2300 block of 8th St. South concerning a pickup truck that had been running for several hours with a man passed out in the back, laying under a blue tarp.
More Naps: At 6:30 p.m. a complaint was made from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South about a child sleeping alone inside a vehicle.
Hit and Run: A complaint was made from the corner of 13th St. North and Baker St. regarding a person who hit another’s vehicle with their vehicle and drove off.
Jan. 15
Change Thief: At 4:11 p.m. a theft was reported from a residence on the 2300 block of Clark St. Items reported missing a cell phone and a change jar.
Drunk in Public: At 7:11 p.m. a complaint was made from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South concerning a man who was refused alcohol and threw money at employees — he then wandered around the parking lot asking for rides home.
Hit and Run: At 11:17 p.m. a hit and run was reported from the 600 block of Wisconsin St. A grey truck struck a parked car and then drove off.
