Wood County snowmobile trails have been temporarily closed.

The Wood County Park & Forestry Department has announced that effective late last night, all snowmobile trails will be temporarily closed due to incoming precipitation and warm weather. The snowmobile clubs would like to clean up low-lying branches and perform general maintenance and grooming of the trails to keep them safe.

The trails will be reassessed early next week by the snowmobile clubs and a decision will be made when to re-open.
