Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 16-17

Inclement Sledding: At 3:51 p.m. a call was made from the corner of Drake St. and 7th St. North regarding a couple of kids who were sledding in the middle of the road.
I Want My Pizza: A call was made to dispatch concerning a man threatening a pizza place on 8th St. South. The business pulled their drivers off the road due to bad weather, and the caller stated that because of it, he would “end them”.
Change Thief: At 5:29 p.m. a call was made from a laundromat on Wylie Rd. over the theft of change from a change machine.
Jan. 17
Double Whammy: At 6:56 a.m. a complaint was made from a man living on the 1100 block of W. Grand Ave. that he was locked out of this residence, and that his stomach hurt.
Breaking the Law: At 7:46 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident on the 400 block of Market St. about a driver who sped past multiple stop signs.
Suitcases: At 1:04 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch regarding a man and a woman carrying suitcases down the road near 2nd Ave. South and Payne St.
