For the City Times

The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center invites the public to the opening for Local Vision 2017 and “Animals of Africa”.

Local Vision is works submitted by local artists, in all mediums, reflecting their Local Vision. Animals of Africa are works by Stevens Point native Kae Jasiek. The exhibit will open on Friday, Jan. 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This exhibit explores the animal life in Africa, and the beautiful images are brought to life using chalk. Kae’s proceeds from sales during this exhibit will be donated to the Humane Society.

There is never a charge to attend openings at the Cultural Center. Light refreshments will be provided. Both exhibits will stay on display during Central Wisconsin Cultural Centers regular business hours, through Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.

The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is located at 240 Johnson St.
