Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 20-21

Lock Your Doors: At 2:15 p.m. a report was made from the corner of 8th St. South and Pepper Ave. concerning a juvenile checking parked cars for any that were unlocked.
Bad Check: A call was made at 4:29 p.m. from a business on 8th St. South regarding three people attempting to cash bad checks — they were reported to possibly have been under the influence.
Late Night Talk: At 2:37 a.m. a call was made from the 200 block of Oak St. concerning a loud argument that was causing a disturbance.

Broken Main: At 8:34 a.m. a report was made regarding a water main break on the corner of Ash St. and 1st St. North.
Apartment Scuffle: A call was made from an apartment complex on the 500 block of 8th Ave. South concerning a man and woman getting into a heated verbal argument.
Stoplight Malfunction: A report was made from the corner of 8th St. South and Two Mile Ave. in regards to stoplights that had been flashing all three colors simultaneously.
Garbage Man: A call wad made at 6:17 a.m. near a business on the 1300 block of W. Grand Ave. over a man allegedly going through nearby garbage.
