Now is a better time than any to buy a home in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

First-time home buyers are welcomed to a special seminar hosted by ‘The Real Team’ and a local lender on Feb. 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided.

“This seminar is so first-time home buyers know how the process works, and how to use different vendors along the way if they need to,” said Real Team member Melissa Prusak. “We’re educating buyers from pre-approval to finish.”

The team will be going into the entire home-buying process, the steps needed to take in purchasing a home, and what is needed when starting a home loan process, including information on appraisals.

“We have vendors coming in to speak to first-time buyers in regards to home inspection, radon, and other numerous aspects a buyer would have to consider,” said Prusak. “We’re trying to get some of these vendors into educate buyers so that they’re a little more enlightened going through this process.”

Representatives from Help Home Inspection, U.S. Water, Wood County Tile, and Tri-City Refrigeration will be on-hand at the seminar for educational purposes. For more information, please call 715-323-3876.
