Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 31-Feb. 1

Telephone Abuse: At 12:22 p.m. a complaint was made from a residence on the corner of State Highway 54 and Peach St. over threatening phone harassment received over a multiple days.
Slumped Over: A call was made from the 400 block of Daly Ave. to report a man slumped over in his vehicle. When police checked on him, he was just napping after a long day.
Donut Enthusiast: At 10:06 p.m. a call was made to report a vehicle doing donuts in the parking lot on the 1700 block of 17th Ave. South.
Feb. 1
Phantom Fire: A call was made from a residence on the 200 block of 2nd Ave. North to report a house fire. After investigating the area, no fire was found.
Parking Pond: A call was made from the 4700 block of 8th St. South to report that three girls drove a car into a pond outside of a motel.
Stomping Ground: At 2:57 a.m. a complaint was made from the 100 block of 15th Ave. South concerning threats being made from the upstairs neighbor. He then allegedly stomped the stairs and ceiling hard enough for the light fixture in the bottom apartment to detach.
