According to a news release by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, two suspects sought after for the robbery and assault of a 48-year-old man have been apprehended.

On Monday night, a Seneca man was reportedly bound, assaulted, and robbed by two men, one of which was identified as 43-year-old Kendrick Gatlin. His alleged accomplice, known to police as “Emilio”, was identified as 23-year-old Emilio Velezortiz.

The two were apprehended in the Milwaukee area. Sheriff Thomas Reichert anticipates that the department will request charges against the two sometime next week.
