Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 6-8
Feb. 6
Dining Room Nap: A call was placed to dispatch from a business on the 900 block of 8th St. South regarding a man who had been sleeping in the dining room area for a few hours.
Gas Thief: At 2:16 p.m. a complaint was made from the 400 block of Case Ave. concerning the possible theft of gas from their garage.
Loud & Obnoxious: At 11:15 p.m. a complaint was made from the area of 12th St. and Chestnut concerning a vehicle circling the area repeatedly, playing loud music.
Feb. 7
Repeat Offender: At 1:50 p.m. a report was made from a gas station on the 4000 block of 8th St. in regards to a repeat gas drive-off offender who refuses to pay, even when contacted.
Potential GTA: A call was made from the 300 block of 12th St. North concerning a young woman attempting to take a vehicle that is not hers.
Wrong Number: At 5:47 p.m. a 911 call was placed by a 6-year-old child — police arrived to simply find that the child was unattended.
Feb. 8
Cell Phone Vandal: At 1:48 p.m. a call was placed to dispatch over an argument at the 4600 block of 8th St. South where a man threw a cell phone at another man’s vehicle.
Recycling Bandit: A call was placed from a residence on the 600 block of 16th St. South to report that his recycling bin had been taken to the curb without his consent.
Loud & Obnoxious: At 11:52 p.m. a complaint was made from the 900 block of 1st St. North over a man and a woman who had been arguing for over an hour.
