Cause of Cary Barn Fire Unknown

According to a news release by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, there was a report of a barn fire on Saturday morning in the township of Cary.

The fire occurred at approximately 12:14 a.m. on the 11000 block of State Highway 73 in Cary. There have been no reported injuries, though the cause of the fire is currently unknown.

There were livestock in the barn at the time of the fire, but unknown how many. State Highway 73 was closed for a period of time due to emergency vehicles.

Assisting the Pittsville Fire Department were fire departments from Vesper, Rock, Richfield, Aprin, Cameronm Lincoln, Hewitt, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
