Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 9-11

Feb. 9
Bike Safety: At 4:35 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident about a woman who rides her bicycle by the courthouse at the very early hours of the morning without any lights on.
Phone Harassment: At 9:57 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 2700 block of Industrial St. regarding a customer who keeps calling and harassing them.
Feb. 10
Lazy Paperboy: At 11:04 a.m. a complaint was made regarding a newspaper service that missed the mark — newspapers were thrown all over the road until police warned them to make sure the papers were thrown closer to the properties.
Abandoned: At 6:43 p.m. a call was made from a parking lot by the 4300 block of 8th St South about a vehicle with California plates that had been sitting in the lot, untouched, for a week.
Bathroom Drunk: At 1:21 a.m. a call was made from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. concerning a woman who appeared extremely intoxicated who was hanging out in the bathroom.
Feb. 11
Sticker Thief: At 8:59 a.m. a report was made from the 3200 block of Bonow Ave. about a registration sticker stolen from the caller’s vehicle.
Criminal Damage: A call was made from a business on the 200 block of W. Grand Ave. concerning an unruly customer who smashed a window and left the scene. He was later brought in by police.
Punched: At 2:11 a.m. a report was made from the 60 block of Big Oak Rd. regarding an incident where a friend was punched in the face.
