The Midwest Elite Division Champion Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings finish off their season this weekend in special fashion.

The Riverkings take on Blaine Energy Friday and Saturday night at the South Wood County Recreation Center. Boasting a 35-7 record, (four overtime losses) they have not only clinched the division, but home advantage in the playoffs.

This Saturday, a special raffle will be held to raise money for the Wounded Warriors Foundation. $5 will offer the chance to win a signed poster of NHL All-Star Joe Pavelski. Pavelski is the current Captain of the San Joe Sharks, and a Plover, Wis. native.

That same night will offer $3 tickets for law enforcement, a special free three hour van rental from Pub Pilots, and a ‘drunk goggle challenge’. There will also be an open skate 30 minutes after the game ends.

Don’t miss the last games of the Riverkings’ exciting season before their playoff run. The Wood County Recreation Center is located at 2711 16th St. South.
