United Way of Inner Wisconsin Accepting Funding Applications

For the City Times
United Way of Inner Wisconsin is currently accepting applications for 2018-2019 funding. The application can be filled out online (only) at www.uwiw.org.
Important news about our Community Impact Process
This year, the United Way is moving to a two-year funding cycle. That means some partner programs will receive a continuation grant (in the same amount they received for 2017) and some programs will be applying for a two year grant (2018 and 2019).
“This change will streamline our funding process,” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “We know that social change does not happen overnight. By providing two year funding grants, partner programs can focus on the great work they are doing in the community.”
Programs that address Education and Health will apply this year for 2018-2019 funding. Programs that address Income and Safety Net Services will receive a one-year continuation grant, and then be eligible to apply for 2019-2020 funding next year. All programs receiving funds are still required to submit quarterly report forms and must be in good standing following the agency agreement.
How to Apply
Health and human service agencies who wish to apply for United Way funding must go to our website at www.uwiw.org and fill out an online application form. Completed application and uploaded supporting documentation must be submitted by Feb. 28, 2017. No late or paper applications/supporting documentation will be accepted. Please read the instructions and FAQs before beginning. If your organization is applying for multiple programs, you must compete the online application for each program (please complete the first form before beginning the next).
For any questions about the funding application process, please contact Tari Jahns or Emily Stieve; for technical questions about the online application, contact Angela Loucks. You can reach United Way of Inner Wisconsin at 715-421-0390.
