If your child has ever been interested in playing youth hockey, this Saturday is your opportunity.

The South Wood County Youth Hockey Association will be hosting “Try Hockey for Free” on Feb. 25. This is a nationwide event where kids aged 4-9 can try youth hockey as a part of “Hockey Week Across America”.

The SWCYHA will be partnering with USA hockey and 300 locations across the country for this day. The event is located at the South Wood County Recreation Center, located at 2711 16th St. South. Tryouts will run from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

To pre-register, please email your child’s name and age to [email protected]
