A new shopping experience has opened up in Wisconsin Rapids.

‘Rustic Redefined’ celebrated with the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, as they welcomed the new store into the community. ‘Rustic Redefined’ specializes in unique clothing, accessories, and furniture.

‘Rustic Redefined’ is owned and operated by Jodi and Rick Parmeter, who recently moved to the area with a need for rural-inspired clothing.

“I grew up in a small town in rural Minnesota,” said Jodi Parmeter. “When Rick told me we were moving back in town I thought ‘where am I going to shop?’ — So now I shop here.”

Parmeter worked as a designer for over 13 years for log homes, which is where she met her husband Rick, who currently works for Golden Eagle Log Homes. After some discussion, the couple decided to open up the store — a decision made within a matter of weeks.

“We decided and opened in two weeks,” said Jodi Parmeter. “The idea was percolating, and then after two weeks we just jumped right in and here we are.”

‘Rustic Redefined’ is located right next to Sears, located at 830 Huntington Ave. For more information, please call 715-205-9610, or you can find them on Facebook here.
