By Joe Bachman
The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings are one game away from a championship appearance in Boston.
They picked up a 2-1 win last night against the Chicago Cougars in semifinal action. The game was fast and physical, both teams were scoreless heading into the third period.
With the scored tied 0-0 going into the third period Reed Kaiser scored off a beautiful feed from Ryan Mantz to give the Riverkings the lead. However, Chicago responded just two minutes later to even the score at 1-1 with a goal from Jonathan Moskuluk.
