For the City Times

Representatives from civic design consultant MSA Professional Services will present the proposed Mead Park Field splash park design, on Thursday, March 9.

The event takes place at Mead Elementary School, starting at 6:00 p.m. with a half-hour reception and presentation at 6:30 p.m. This will be followed by an open house with Mayor Zach Vruwink, other elected officials, city staff, and MSA personnel.

The presentation will include highlights of design concepts generated by Mead School students during a planning held at City Hall with Mayor Vruwink on February 20. In addition, MSA staff will provide an introduction to the Mead Field Master Plan, including locations for the splash pad and ball fields, and a consideration of the future of athletics at Mead Field.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend. For more information contact Jennifer Clark at 715-421-8216. Mead Elementary is located at 241 17th Ave. South.
