The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings look to keep their championship hopes alive, but they’ll need wins against Hampton, Boston, and Charlotte to advance.

Six teams advanced to round robin competition in Boston for the Elite Division USPHL Championship. The Riverkings are joined by the Wisconsin Dells Ducks, Boston Junior Bruins, Hampton Roads Whalers, the Charlotte Rush, and the Syracuse Stars.

Teams with the top four records at the end of round robin competition on Thursday will meet later that night in semifinal action. The best-of-three series to determine a Elite USPHL champion will start on Friday.

The Riverkings first take the ice Wednesday afternoon against Hampton, who finished second in the South Elite Division. This will be followed by a night cap against Boston, who finished second in the North Elite Division. Their final challenge of the round robin comes against Elite South Division Champions Charlotte.

The games will be played at the New England Sports Center. You can catch live action of the game at hockeytv.com
