For the City Times

Everything wears with age – including your joints.

For some people, joint pain can reduce quality of life. When everyday activities become too painful or difficult and favorite hobbies are left behind, it’s time to find a solution.

Aspirus Riverview Joint Center offers the latest techniques and treatment options for joint pain, provided by specialized nursing, therapy and surgery staff. The Joint Center puts an emphasis on wellness and early mobility, shortened recovery time, less time in the hospital, less after-surgery assistance, lower risk of complications and excellent outcomes.

The Joint Center also has their coordinator, Kathleen Schultz, RN. She is the go-to person at the Joint Center to answer your questions about treatment options for arthritis, joint pain and evaluations with an orthopaedic specialist.

Schultz will be the guest speaker at the March 23 session of Let’s Learn Together. She will talk about joint health and local treatment options. Join us at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23 at Hilltop Grand Village for this free, informational session. Refreshments will be served.

For more information about Let’s Learn Together, call Mystique Macomber at 715-423-7400 or email [email protected]. For more information about the Aspirus Riverview Joint Center, call 715-421-4142 or email [email protected].

Let’s Learn Together is a monthly speaker series, featuring a variety of topics from local experts. All sessions are free and open to the public. Programs are recorded and air at 9 a.m. Mondays and 11 a.m. Wednesdays on Wisconsin Rapids Community Media, Solarus channel 3 and Charter channel 985.

Hilltop Grand Village, 1400 24th St. S., is Wisconsin Rapids’ newest assisted living facility, providing private apartments and 24-hour care staff. Enter by Home Depot.
