Riverkings defenseman Will McGouhran has committed to Framingham State University to play Division III hockey.
McGouhran saw limited playing time this year in the Riverkings’ championship season, though due to a knee injury suffered two summers ago.
“Will is an outstanding citizen and has worked extremely hard to gain this opportunity of playing D3 NCAA hockey,” said Coach Marty Quarters. “Having overcome a serious knee injury two summers ago, Will has shown the dedication and ability needed to be a top student athlete. Will also brings the skill set and type of character Framingham State is looking for as they rebuild their program and culture.”
McGouhran finished with three goals and 15 assists on the year. Framingham State is located in Massachusetts.
