Spring break is just around the corner, and with that, a week long camp offered by the Boys & Girls Club.

Camp Club will run from March 27-31 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and welcomes all youths to participate in week long activities. These activities range from games and crafts, to a special movie screening and obstacle course.

“We are so excited about Camp Club, taking place during spring break next week,” said Boys & Girls Club Resource Development Director Lindsey Wilson. “Not only are the kids going to have fun with their friends, but they will also participate in fun activities that will challenge them academically and others that will keep them healthy and active throughout the week.”

Below is a schedule of events for the spring break camp:

Monday — “Kickoff” –  Team crafts, games and treats
Tuesday — “The Amazing Race” – Walking field trip
Wednesday — “Suess Day” – Special reading guest plus “SLIME”
Thursday — Game shows, obstacle course, and team games
Friday — “Disney Pajama Day” – Afternoon movie, popcorn, team prizes and other surprises

“Our staff members are looking forward to seeing the positive impact these activities will have on the kids each day,” said Wilson. “If I was a kid in Wisconsin Rapids, this is where I would want to be!”

Participation in the week is free for all Boys & Girls Club members. For those who aren’t members, you can buy an annual membership for $20. For more information, please call 715-424-2582.
