Here are your top five weekend events happening in the Wisconsin Rapids area

Friday, March 24
Summer IPA Tap Takeover — 5:00 p.m.

-Hollyrock’s will be hosting a special beer tasting event featuring 5 different IPA’s from Summit Brewery. A representative from Summit Brewery will be on hand. Flights also available. Hollyrock’s is located at 1114 2nd St. North.

Friday, March 24
Elk’s Lodge Fish Fry — 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

-Catch a local fish fry this Friday at the Elk’s Lodge, located at 430 W. Jackson St. All proceeds for fish fries go to support local community charity projects.

Saturday, March 25
Sugar Bush at Point Basse — 10:00 a.m.

-From observing sap being cooked down to maple syrup, to maple syrup being cooked down to make sugar, and trying samples of both — this event promises to be very sweet. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students. Historic Point Basse is located at 364 Wakeley Rd, Nekoosa.

Saturday March 25
Spotlight Talent Show — 5:00 p.m.

-McMillan Library will be hosting a special talent show of all ages. From singing, dancing, painting, and much more, there are a plethora of talented acts on stage for your enjoyment. This will be held inside the Fine Arts Center at McMillan, located at 490 E. Grand Ave.

Saturday, March 25
Wood County 41st Annual Rifle & Pistol Club Show — 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

-Gun enthusiasts can buy, sell, and trade firearms at this annual event, located at Wild Horse Banquet Hall at 9031 County Rd. WW.
