Witter Skate Park to Open Monday

For some, spring is a time for tire grabs, kickflips and grinds.
According to Wood County, the Wisconsin Rapids Skate Park at Witter Field is slated to open for the season on Monday. The park is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. during season hours.
The city cautions skaters and bikers to wear a helmet and safety gear, and to always skate or bike at your own risk.
