Evers Rolls into Third Term as Wisconsin Superintendent

MADISON — Incumbent Tony Evers has secured a third term as Wisconsin State Superintendent.
With 46 percent of precincts reporting, Evers was called the projected winner by the Associated Press as of 8:35 p.m. with nearly 70 percent of the votes over challenger Lowell Holtz.
Evers was the favorite going into this race, being a big proponent of public education. In November, Evers visited multiple schools in Wisconsin Rapids with high praise.
As of 9:21 p.m. Evers has a lead of 297,042 votes to Holtz’s 129,714.
