Multiple Lane Closures in Effect on Wednesday

Multiple lane closures are slated to go into effect on Wednesday for utility work, according to a Wisconsin Rapids Police Department alert.
The closures will come due to the investigation of a utility service break at three different locations. All three lane closures will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. and will finish by approximately noon.
The first lane closure will take place a E. Riverview Expressway by the 1st St. South and 3rd St. South intersection with the second coming on 3rd St. South between Chestnut St. and E. Riverview Expressway. Southbound traffic on 3rd St. South will be detoured to Chestnut Street to access E. Riverview Expressway.
The third lane closure between Daly Ave. and E. Riverview Expressway will shift northbound traffic on 1st St. South and will be detoured to Daly Ave. to access East Riverview Expressway.
