WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A local man has been charged with his 13th drunk driving offense.
According to police reports, on April 18, a Saratoga gas station attendant noticed a man having a hard time walking to the establishment after placing a case of beer into a truck storage compartment. Authorities soon made contact with a man identified as 54-year-old Robert Radl, of Wyeville.
Radl was observed to have slurred speech, a red face, and could not keep his eyes open. It was also observed that he had urinated on his pants. Radl admitted to drinking a six-pack shortly before driving.
A blood test would reveal a blood alcohol level of 0.288.
If convicted, Radl faces up to 15 years imprisonment and up to $50,000 in fines. His next court date is scheduled for May 1.
