WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings defenseman JR Stiles has announced his commitment to NCAA D3 Framingham State University for 2017-18.
“JR was a big part of the Riverkings success by playing important minuets on both special teams and being one of our most constituent players,” said Head Coach Marty Quarters. “Being a veteran, and his high hockey IQ, helped lead our team to its first league championship JR could have played another year, but he has proved with his ability and hard work he is ready to be a student athlete and will be an important part of the Framingham State’s culture.”
Stiles is the second Riverking to commit to Framingham State, located in Massachusetts. Will McGouhran committed to the school early this year.
