May 8

Tool Thief: At 942 a.m. a report was made from the 1600 block of 23rd Ave. South regarding the theft of power tools from the caller’s basement.

Men Seeking Men: A call was made from the 1500 block of 1st St. North to report that someone had listed his number without permission to the ‘Men Seeking Men’ section of Craigslist.

Nap Break: At 12:51 a.m. call was made from a tavern downtown regarding to men banging on the front door, trying to get in, even though the tavern was closed. It was noted by police that the bartender was passed out behind the bar.

May 9

Bed Bugs?: At 2:42 p.m. a report was made from the 1300 block of Fremont St. concerning a mattress that was on fire leaning against a garage.

Prowler Alert: A call was made by a concerned resident on the 2600 block of 12 St. South to report a man dressed in a grey hoodie, grey sweatpants, and grey tanktop, who had been watching children on the playground for hours.

Loud Neighbors: At 9:47 p.m. a complaint was made from the 100 block of 14th Ave. South concerning loud neighbors. Police soon sent home the culprits.

May 10

Bear Problems: At 10:44 a.m. a call was made from the 1600 block of Lincoln St. to report that people were blocking her driveway so they can see a bear up in a tree.

Hulk Smash: At 5:42 p.m. a complaint was made to police from the area of 21st St. North concerning a man who had been standing in the road and pounding his chest. The man continued to yell, then proceeded to take off his shirt and throw it in someone’s yard.

Smashing Windows: At 4:46 a.m. a call was made from the 1300 block of Woodbine St. to report that a man had been smashing windows in the area.
