Soundcheck: Six Bands Take the Stage This Weekend

Here is a rundown of live music happening in the area this weekend.

Friday, May 12

Sara Rifleman Jazz Trio – 4:00 p.m.
-Catch some great live jazz at Jennings early Friday evening. Jennings is located at 210 1st St. North.

Relentless – 7:00 p.m.
-Relentless continues their spring gigs and will be playing the Hotel Mead on Friday night. Hotel Mead is located at 451 E. Grand Ave.

Austin Healey – 8:00 p.m.
-Austin Healey brings his unique sound to Kellner on Friday night. He will be playing at UW-Kellner, located at 4111 80th St. South.

Saturday, May 12

The aTOMix – 7:00 p.m.
-Long-time favorites, The aTOMix will be playing Hollyrock’s on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Hollyrock’s is located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids, 114 2nd St. North.

Thursday’s Project – 7:00 p.m.
-Thursday’s Project will take center stage on Saturday night at Layla’s. Layla’s Pub is located at 2962 WI-73.

Genesee Depot – 9:00 p.m.
-Newcomers and country band Genesee Depot will be playing Rookie’s Pub on Saturday night. Rookie’s is located at 3465 Church St. in Stevens Point.
