Here is a rundown of the top five events happening in the area this weekend.

Friday, June 2-4 (various)
WRYSA Baseball Tournament
-Hosted at Kellner Fields, various teams from different divisions will participate in the tournament. Concession stands will be available for the games. For more information on specific times and teams, please call 715-570-5822.

Thursday, June 1-30
Zoo Coloring Contest
-For the month of June, the Wisconsin Rapids Municipal Zoo will host a zoo coloring contest. Located at 1911 Gaynor Ave., for more information, please call 715-421-8240.

Saturday, June 3
Freddie’s Adult Prom — 8:00 p.m.
-You’re never too old to go to prom, and this weekend is your chance. Freddie’s Pub & Eatery will be hosting their annual Adult Prom where you can be a “drunken mess in your fancy dress”. Saturday, June 3
McMillan Summer Kickoff Event — 10:00 a.m.
-McMillan Library hosts the Summer Kickoff Event by building a better world through volunteering. The Fine Arts Center will host the Lincoln High Pep band, as well as discovering the ‘Great American Eclipse’ with John Heasley. Sunday, June 4
Cadillac Pete & The Heat – 4:00 p.m.
-After your weekend has wound down a bit, head to Anchor Bay Bar & Grill to check out Cadillac Pete & The Heat — some of the best blues harmonica in the area. Anchor Bay is located at 3460 N. Biron Dr.
