$30,000 distributed to 24 recipients
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Mid-State Technical College has awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 24 graduating high school students for the school year of 2017–2018.
Each scholarship is valued at $1,250 and will be divided between the fall and spring semesters. These scholarships will help new students achieve their goal of attaining an associate degree or technical diploma.
According to the Mid-State Foundation & Alumni director Jill Steckbauer, compared to previous years, the Foundation received nearly twice as many high school scholarship applications during this year’s January-to-March application window.
