Letter: Special Thanks for Orange Blossom Donations

To the Editor:
Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 101, Wisconsin Rapids would like to thank all of you who donated to our recent Orange Blossom campaign.
The monies raised will be used for veteran’s activities at Tomah and King veteran homes as well as promoting other local organizations and charities. We especially owe our gratitude to the following businesses who allowed us to stand outside their doors: Walmart, Shopko, Copps, Baker Drive IGA, West Grand IGA and Pritzl’s Trading Post.
On June 17, in conjunction with the Cranberry Blossom Festival, our Chapter will be hosting its 7th Annual Car Cruise-In. New this year, we will be also including motorcycles. The location will be on West Grand Avenue, between the bridge and 3rd Avenue South. It starts at 10 am and goes to 3 pm.
Awards will be given to the top three cars and motorcycles and the voting will be done by the public. If you have a car or motorcycle that you would like to “show off”, this is a perfect, low key opportunity. There is no charge to participate.
So, thank you for your support, and we hope you will join us for a little fun on Saturday, June 17.
Sincerely,
Tom Sachs, President
VVA Chapter 101, Wisconsin Rapids
