Flash Flood Warning Issued for Wisconsin Rapids

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — After a night of heavy storms, a Wisconsin Rapids flood advisory has turned into a flash flood warning.
Issued by the National Weather Service at noon, Doppler radar indicates heavy thunderstorms producing heavy rain of up to two to three inches leading to potential flooding. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
It is advised to take precaution when driving and to turn around when you see flooded roads. According to the National Weather Service, most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
