Eleven Players with Rafters Ties Selected in 2017 MLB Draft

Second consecutive year with 11 players selected from past Rafters teams
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Ten former Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and one current Rafter were selected during the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft that took place from June 12-14.
Joey Morgan, a catcher from the 2016 Rafters team, was the highest pick amongst Rafters alums going in the third round to the Detroit Tigers as the 95th overall pick.
