STEVENS POINT — Some of Wisconsin Rapids’ own will be taking part in cwACT’s production of Raggedy Ann & Andy in a few weeks.

Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) regularly brings in talent from the Stevens Point, Plover, and Wisconsin Rapids areas — and this show is no exception. Director Katie Eyers brings to life a story featuring these two beloved children’s characters.

About cwACT

Since 1974, cwACT has been bringing some of the best musicals, comedies and dramas written to life. The mission of this non-profit organization, with a membership of almost 550, is to collaborate with the Central Wisconsin community in order to create a full theatrical experience that all can enjoy. Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater puts on anywhere from three to six performance annually.  In addition, once a month they host a free to the public improv night at their rehearsal hall, fondly known as “The Shack”.  The 8,000 square foot Shack serves as our storage facility, rehearsal hall, business office and construction area for sets, props and costumes. Most performances are staged at Sentry Insurance’s Theater @1800.
