WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Aspirus Riverview was recently named among only five other Wisconsin hospitals in a top 100 list of great community hospitals.

Becker’s Hospital Review gathered 100 of the best community hospitals from around the nation, and Wisconsin Rapids’ own joins Green Bay, Manitowoc, Woodruff, Rice Lake, and Monroe.

“Once again, Aspirus Riverview is being recognized for the incredible work and the efforts our staff puts forth each and every day,” said Aspirus Riverview CEO Todd Burch. “This award is a reflection of each and every member of the Aspirus Riverview team.”

According to the Becker’s Hospital Review website:

The Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on rankings and awards from organizations such as National Rural Health Association, iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics, Healthgrades, CareChex, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Leapfrog Group.

Recently, Aspirus Riverview Hospital also earned Healthgrades’ Outstanding Patient Experience Award in 2016 and Healthgrades’ America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Award from 2015 to 2017. In addition, in 2017, Aspirus Riverview was named a Top 100 Rural Hospital by Becker’s Hospital Review and received an “A” grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group
