July 2

Old Crow: At 11:26 a.m. a call was made from the 2800 block of 12th St. South to report a dead crow in his backyard.

Money Thief: At 7:19 p.m. a call was made to report the theft of a money order from the 400 block of 17th St. North.

Skate or Die: At 3:33 a.m. a call was made from the 2300 block of Eight St. South to report two teens skateboarding in the middle of the road.

No. of Complaints Involving Fireworks: 5
No of Complaints Involving Erratic Drivers: 3

July 3

Couch Dump: At 10:15 a.m. a complaint was made from a business on the 200 block of 12th Ave. South regarding discarded couches dumped at their site.

High Flames: A call was made late into the evening regarding a large fire on the 100 block of 14th Ave. South — the flames were lower than reported, and it was just a cooking fire.

Prowler Alert: At 12:11 a.m. a report was made from the 300 block of Strodman Ave. regarding a man knocking on the caller’s window.

July 4

Dog Eat Cat World: At 8:49 a.m. a call was made from the 300 block of 16th St. North concerning a lose dog attempting to eat the caller’s cat.

Ornament Vandal: At 4:03 p.m. a call was placed to dispatch from a residence on the 400 block of 10th St. North to report the vandalism of their van and yard ornaments.

Acting “Strange”: At 12:58 a.m. a call was made from a tavern on the 100 block of Second St. North to report that a woman was under the influence of something, and was acting “strange”.
